Yamile Arciniegas Lasso.

STEP 1

PERSONAL REFLECTION ABOUT THE QUESTIONS.

1.         ¿What should English Language Learning (ELT) materials have?
When we speak of learning materials or didactic resources, we refer to a series of means or instruments that favor the teaching and learning process, these are usually used within the educational environment to facilitate the acquisition of concepts, skills, attitudes and skills of students.
To obtain an excellent learning, the teacher must use remarkable materials in his students, managing to attract the attention, interests and curiosity of the students, the teacher can not fall into the error of the monotony must design innovative material such as illustrations, games, photographs, etc. make students feel comfortable, propose tasks where students are led to think
Teachers must take into account the students' needs, build trust through stimulating, imaginative, creative activities, helping the student make efficient use of resources in an easier way, satisfying all learning styles.

Please, explain the main on the following question: What are the Proposals for Principled Approaches to the Development of ELT Materials?

The teaching materials have occupied and will continue to occupy a very important place for teaching, so it is necessary to take into account these tools that are the key to acquire learning.
Teachers must stop and analyze if the materials that are being used in class are actually giving results, if they address all the variables of the students' attitudes and if they effectively stimulate the thinking and feelings of each participant.
We must be very clear that not all students learn in the same way, so we must find the appropriate methods to achieve an appropriate learning in each of the students, because the great challenge and satisfaction of the teacher is not to give a class as such fate, is to be able to achieve the attention of the students, causing them to learn in a more easy and pleasant way.

They visited many famous tourist places. Daniela's favorite place was Atherton Tablelands Waterfalls, she was always interested in nature, so it was a special gift for her. Slendy got tired of walking and said "Enough, I need to take a break and rest".

They took many breaks and sat on the banks of the river. The food they ate was delicious. The wines were tasty, too. Richard's favorite part of the vacation was the hotel breakfast. He said he would be happy if he could eat croissants like that forever. They had so much fun that they are talking about the next vacation.

  2. Dear Yamile in this activity, you want to use some life events for the students. I think this is the best way to teach because the student could make a comparison about the events, the words, the times, the spaces and the things that they lived. . In this case holidays are a good option.
